Painting Workshop
Treat yourself to an intensive four-day plein air painting retreat and workshop. We will focus on immersing you in painting and studying light and color in the Cape Cod landscape. The workshop will include a one day excursion to Provincetown - where it all began in 1899 with Charles Hawthorne and the School of Color and Light. We will have daily paint-outs at some of my favorite Cape Cod locations as well as informative presentations and evening group critiques over wine and cheese.
· Penniman House and Fort Hill Overlook at the National Seashore (Eastham)
· A day of painting at Wellfleet Harbour with dinner at Mac’s Seafood Shack
· Bell’s Neck Conservation Land (Harwich)
During demonstrations you may watch or paint beside me. I will share my unique painting perspective, knowledge and experience and encourage your inner artist to shine.
In the evening make new friends and unwind by dining at iconic Cape Cod restaurants. If you wish to paint more, you may do so in my private studio.
